School Laptop – Selecting Affordable Laptops for Back to School
July 27th, 2010If you are ready to buy a personal computer for school or your college student this fall, you will probably be wondering if you should buy a large wide screen laptop or one of the newer small mini-notebooks. Both have their good points and their negative points. Laptops tend to have more computing power with larger keyboards and mouse pads, while the smaller notebooks are lighter, less expensive and obviously smaller.
The best choice for the majority of students will be a school laptop. The price will more than likely be a few hundred dollars more than a notbook computer, expecially if you select a lighter version laptop. The benefits, however will offset the extra cost. For extended periods of typing time the larger laptops ergonomics excel and abundant processing power is necessary to handle today’s college student’s workload.
